Beverly Sintek

Beverly L. Sintek, 88, of Spring, Texas passed away on September 19, 2021.

Graveside Services and Inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Hillside Cemetery at North Loup. Pastor D. Scott Smith will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or Cure Alzheimer's Fund.

Beverly Lee was born the oldest of three daughters to Cecil and Leona Knapp. She grew up in North Loup, Nebraska where she graduated from high school.

Following high school she attended Hastings College, then married her high school sweetheart, Gale Sintek on May 16, 1952 at North Loup, Nebraska. Their son, Neal and daughter, Denice were born, lucky kids growing up down the street from both sets of grandparents. The family moved to Grand Island in 1958, and Lisa was born. Three months later the family moved to Denver, Colorado where they made their home for 6 years. Then it was on to Houston, Texas for a year and Shawnee Mission, Kansas for a year. They returned to Houston for another year and then spent 6 years in San Antonio. Beverly loved her home in San Antonio. Lastly, they settled in Spring, Texas in 1979, where she resided until her passing at her home where Gale cared for her.

"Even though we moved around for Dad's job, she kept it all together. She knew that it would be difficult leaving each time, but Mom and Dad made it easier to accept. Turns out, it was the best road to take for our family! God always has a plan!"

Beverly loved playing golf with her husband, Gale and their son, Neal. The couple also adored going on yearly golfing/theme party trips to Harlingen, Texas at the "Life Begins at 40!" golf tournament vacations; and regularly enjoyed golfing trips with other dear, friends too.

Beverly enjoyed ceramics and belonged to a card club. Since 1970, she took Jacki Sorensen's Aerobics class. She loved music, especially Big Band and Country, her favorite was Willie Nelson.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Gale of Spring, TX; a son, Neal of San Antonio, TX; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denice and Steven Gill of Rosenberg, TX and Lisa and Dick G. Richards of Spring, TX; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Janice Mulligan and Diane and Danial Rieker all of Lincoln, NE; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one expectant great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter-in-law, Mercedes "Merche" Orozco Sintek.
