Bryan Douglas
Dzingle
June 27, 1966 – November 6, 2023
Bryan Douglas Dzingle, age 57, of North Loup, died at his home November 6, 2023.
Bryan Douglas Dzingle was born June 27, 1966, at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island to Carol (Stobbe) and Ron Dzingle of Grand Island. He was an only child. He attended Newell Elementary School and graduated from Senior High School in 1984.
Following the completion of his schooling, he worked alongside his parents at the business they started, DZ Office Products in Grand Island.
After the untimely death of Bryan's father in 1999, Bryan continued as President of the company, until the family elected to close the business in 2001.
Bryan relocated to Kansas City, Missouri, where he was employed at Rangel Distributing. It was there that he continued his relationship with Candace (Candy) Marshall. The couple was married on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2002; at Las Vegas, Nevada. Witnessing the event were Bryan's mother, Carol Dzingle, Candy's mother, Marian Hyde and the couple's son, Taylor Dzingle. The couple later separated.
In May of 2019, Bryan and his special companion cat, "Oreo" moved back to Nebraska to be closer to special family members. He lived in Loup City with his aunt, Judi Pemberton and her family for a short time. He later settled in a home in North Loup and was welcomed by his cousins, Joe and Michelle Stobbe, Jr.
After moving to North Loup, he was employed at Trotters' Whoa and Go, until being stricken with an aggressive cancer and was forced to leave this job and concentrate on his health issues. He was always friendly; he enjoyed working with all the employees, assisting the customers and making new acquaintances. He took pride in serving up a well-made pizza and welcomed many a compliment for his tasty creations.
As a young child, Bryan enjoyed vacation stays at his maternal grandparent's farm home near Ashton. He amassed a large collection of the original "Hot Wheels" toy vehicles from trips with his Grandma Stobbe to the local Maschka's Market in town. Somehow, he also survived the traumatic loss of a toddler's pacifier (in his case, 'Ya-Ya') when it took flight through an open car window on a dusty road trip to the Stobbe farm. It was deemed by his parents that, "it was time."
Survivors include his former wife, Candace (Candy) Dzingle of Kansas City, Missouri; his son, Taylor Dzingle and fiancé, Allie Waterhouse of Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunt, Judi Stobbe Pemberton of Loup City; uncle and aunt, Joe and Elaine Stobbe, Sr. of Ashton; cousins, Erin Kaye Pemberton of Kearney, Sean Pemberton of Loup City, Joe and Michelle Stobbe Jr. of North Loup, Julius, Zenobia, Thaddeus and Apollo Harris, Max Pemberton, Courtney and Brook Wagner, Zach Stobbe; many other family and friends; and his special companion, "Oreo" his comfort cat.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ron Dzingle in February of 1999 and Carol in April of 2014; and his mother-in-law, Marian Hyde; grandparents, Theo and Agnes (Karas) Stobbe, John and Sally (Stanczyk) Dzingle; uncle, Roger I. Pemberton; along with Dzingle family members and other family and friends.
At his family's request, no services are planned at this time.
Memorials or special memories may be sent to Candy Dzingle: 3008 NW 89th Terrace, Kansas City, Mo, 64154.
