David Timmerman

David K. Timmerman, 69, of Ord passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the Valley County Health System Hospital in Ord.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

David Keith was born July 7, 1951, at Ord, Nebraska to Merl E. and Louise (Patrick) Timmerman. He was raised in Valley County and received his education at Plain Valley Rural School and Ord High School.

As a young man, Dave drove a semi-truck coast to coast. He worked in the mines at Butte, Montana and did dry wall work while living in Utah. For 35 years he was a heavy equipment operator, retiring in October of 2019.

On June 20, 1975, David was united in marriage to Kathy Berges at Deer Lodge, Montana.

David enjoyed golfing, gardening and drag racing.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy; one son, David Timmerman II; one daughter, Bessie Timmerman; four grandchildren, Maxius Timmerman, Xena Valasek, Deja Timmerman and Gabriel Jacobsen; five sisters, Janice Hodges, Shirley Roark, Pat Ingraham, Kathy (Jerry) VanDeBall and Debbie (Jim) Fredrick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ron, Merl and Melvin; three brothers-in-law, Jim Hodges, Dave Ingraham and Jack Roark; and two sisters-in-law, Betty and Alyce Timmerman.
