Debra L. Martin, 67, formerly of North Loup, Nebraska passed away on October 20, 2023.

Debra was born June 15, 1956, at Lincoln, Nebraska to Verola Irene Schoenfield and her adopted father, Edwin M. Klein. She spent her childhood in Lincoln and received her education at Lincoln High School.

On June 26, 1976, Debra was united in marriage to Kenneth Charles Martin. The couple resided at Sherman Reservoir where they raised their family of four. Later in life, the couple made their home in North Loup.

Debra worked as a CNA at Rose Lane Home in Loup City. She volunteered at Awanas and vacation bible school at Gretna and Broken Bow. She was also involved in the Moose Lodge in Gretna.

Debra enjoyed flowers, bird watching, playing ping pong, crocheting; and doing crafts.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny Jr. and Lea of Ravenna, Joshua and Kristy of Farwell, and Jeremiah and Quyen of Wichita, Kansas; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Tony Wichman of Grand Island; five grandchildren; two brothers, David Klein and Edwin Klein Jr.; and one sister, Lori Melonas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth who passed away on June 11, 2020; step-father, Gordon Wolcott; and a sister, Nancy Fester.

Private Family Inurnment will be held at the Hillside Cemetery at North Loup.
