Denarae Kaslon

Denarae Lynn Kaslon, 33, of Ord passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the Valley County Health System Hospital in Ord.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at the Ord Memorial Chapel with Father Scott Harter officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the Family.

Denarae Lynn was born January 16, 1988, at Grand Island, Nebraska to Robert and Karen (Daniels) Bruha. She spent her childhood in Ord where she attended school.

Dena spent time in South Dakota at her sister; Amber's and cared for her nephew and niece. Later, she married Shane Staack. The couple resided in Tennessee where Dena was active in helping children at Sunday School. Dena returned to Nebraska and was united in marriage to Derick Kaslon on August 31, 2019, at Ord, Nebraska.

Dena had a love for life; enjoying traveling, shopping, make-up and hair. Her passion was spoiling her nieces and nephews, spending time with them and buying them something special. She also had a special love for her step-daughter, Haezel; and her dog, Lilly.

Dena was a very caring and kind person. She always put others first and would go without in order to give to someone in need.

She is survived by her husband, Derick Kaslon; step-daughter, Haezel Kaslon; three sisters and their families, Heather and Nathan Fuhrman and Maddix, MaKenna, Rhykin, Amber Bruha and fiancé', Zane Beal and Kaden, Allison and Kennedy and Bailee Wadas and fiancé', Andrew Mundorf and Brynn, Brilyn and Kayslynn; a brother, Ashton Wadas; step-father, Richard Wadas; sister-in-law, Deandra Smith; mother-in-law, Diane Smith; father-in-law, Dave Kaslon; grandmothers; Evelyn Sueper and Susan Leach; grandmother-in-law, Renae Markvicka; and a host of relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bruha; mother, Karen Wadas; grandfathers; Edward Bruha, Gary Daniels, Deloy "Swede" Leach and Paul Sueper.
