Ed pursued a career in construction, operating a dragline and later establishing his own business, “Ed Hoevet Excavating.” His dedication to his work remained unwavering, even as he grew older.
He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. In his leisure time, Ed enjoyed spending time with his coffee group, playing pitch, sharing corny jokes, and driving his beloved Ford Fairlane.
