Obituary

Elaine F. Wiese, 73, of Ord passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 17, 2024; at CHI Good Samaritan Health System in Kearney, Nebraska.

Elaine Faye was born October 1, 1950, at Ord, Nebraska to William and Eileen (Jackson) Patrick. She was raised on the farm near Ericson and graduated from Wheeler Central High School in 1968.

Elaine married Gene Warner; to this union two sons were born, Michael and Jeff.

On May 19, 1976, Elaine and James A. Wiese were married at Ord, Nebraska. The couple was blessed with two children, James and Roxann. The family lived in Ord where Elaine worked in various capacities. She managed the Emporium, assisted at the family irrigation business "SK&W"; and also worked at the Ord Nursing Home and Ord Public School.

James unexpectedly passed away on February 7, 1997; following that Elaine moved to Hastings where she worked as a Pharmacy Tech. Upon retirement in 2021; she returned to Ord where she lived until her passing.

Elaine was a devoted grandmother and spent her time attending her grandkid's activities. She also enjoyed crafts, bird watching and flower gardening.

Survivors include a daughter, Roxann Wiese and Adam Marco of Lincoln; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jim and Randi Wiese of Ord and Jeff Warner of Hastings; two step daughters, Shauna Jones and Michelle Wiese both of Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Maxon, Zaydon and Anasyn Wiese, Jaylin Wiese and Mathysin and Ashtin Marco, ShelbeAnn and Miranda Warner, Trezdun and Gracen Jackson, and Baylor and Kason Fiedler;  ; and a brother, Douglas Patrick of Hastings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Michael Warner; her husband, James Wiese; and a brother, Gayle Patrick.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024; at the Ord Memorial Chapel. Pastor Kyle Campise will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Ord City Cemetery.
