Gordon Strong

Gordon L. Strong, 81, of Ord passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at the Valley County Health System Hospital in Ord.

Gordon Lee was born June7, 1939, in Custer County, Nebraska to Allen and Adah (Campbell) Strong.

Most people knew Gordon Strong as the guy who wrote "Strong Views" for the Ord Quiz. Other people knew him as quite the "jokester".  Others knew Gordon as the very religious guy who loved God and Country. Gordon also loved Ord very much. He will be missed by his family very much.

Survivors include his children, Kim Fox, Todd Janssen, Becky Strong and Scotty Hitch; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Chick Strong and Boots Cushing.

Gordon's Family would like to thank the community of Ord and the Bethel Baptist Church.

Due to the Covid-19 Restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Bethel Baptist Church.
