Ila Mae Hoagland, 86, of North Loup passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024; while residing at Arbor Care Center in Ord.

To honor Ila's wishes, cremation has taken place. No services will be held.

Ila Mae was born November 6, 1937, at Scotia, Nebraska to Herman Henry and Elsie Marie (Klein) Miller. She was raised in Scotia where she also received her education.

Ila enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Barrett (Lonnie Smith) of Buckner, Missouri and Lisa Smith of Rogersville, Missouri; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Craig Hoagland; a daughter, Ginger Vanach; two brothers, Clarence Miller and Don Miller; and a sister, Fern Tuma.
