Jeremiah P. "Jerry" Donovan, 65, of Greeley, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his home northwest of Greeley, Nebraska.

Jeremiah Paul was born August 25, 1959, at Spalding, Nebraska to Dennis Bernard and Mary Alice (Kittridge) Donovan. He was raised on the family farm northwest of Greeley. He received his early education at Greeley Sacred Heart and graduated in 1978 from Greeley High School.

Jerry farmed and lived the majority of his life in Greeley. He was united in marriage to Marcia Dee Kelly on August 8, 2015, at a ceremony in Ireland.

Jerry was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed road trips along the country side and attending the sporting events of his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Marcia of Greeley; three sisters; three brothers; numerous in-laws; all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Greeley, Nebraska. Father Lawrence Vadakkan will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
