Kevin "Mac" McIlravy, 54, of Ord passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 5, 2019, at Ord, Nebraska.

Kevin Vaughn McIlravy was born November 16, 1964, at Beloit, Kansas to William Brown and Emma Joan (Robarchek) McIlravy.  The family lived in various places before settling in Ord in 1978. Kevin received his early education at Riverdale, ND and Pierre, SD then graduated from Ord High School in 1983. He continued his education at Central Community College in Grand Island.

Kevin enjoyed life to the fullest. He was on a bowling league, loved to fish and was a Husker Football fan. He enjoyed listening to classic rock (very loud)! Kevin was always willing to help others in time of need with no questions asked. He will be remembered by his jokes and making others laugh. Kevin will be missed by many.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Kaylee McIlravy of York, and William McIlravy of Paulina, IA; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Adam Steiger of York; five grandchildren, Jordan and Korie Steiger, Aiden, Korbin and Jetsan McIlravy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Dawn McIlravy of York and Will and Dawn McIlravy of Prescott, AX; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Carolyn McIlravy of Olathe, KS, Mary and Bill Thomas of York, Susan and Roger Hall of Exeter and Carrie Osberg  of Ord; an aunt, Shirley Dike of McCook; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Lee Osberg.
