Mary Elizabeth was born on December 16, 1938, in Omaha, Nebraska to William and Amelia (Wenzl) Zoz. She graduated from Murdock High School in 1956, where she enjoyed participating in volleyball and music. She attended the Omaha School of Business where she studied bookkeeping, then worked at Nebraska Tractor in Omaha where she met Marvin Scheideler.
Mary and Marvin were married in Manley, Nebraska on June 20, 1959. This June, would have been their 60 th wedding anniversary. After their marriage, they moved to Ord and started a family that included 10 children. Mary was very active in the Catholic Church and served on the election board for many years. She loved singing and playing the piano with her children and grandchildren, bowling in her younger years, and playing cards with her friends.
Through the years, much of Mary's time was spent caring for her many grandchildren and attending their events. The one thing that would brighten Mary's day was to hold and see her grandchildren. Mary was totally dedicated to her family. Raising 10 children, 30 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren occupied her nearly 60 years of marriage.
Mary is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, William (Divya) Scheideler, Julie (Kent) Zimmerman, John (Angie) Scheideler, Ronald (Cilinda) Scheideler, Linda (Brian) Hupp, Jean (Clint) Andersen, Paul (Kari) Scheideler, Mary Sue (Jerry) Newth, Nancy (Travis) Anderson, and Nicole (Alan) Bonifas; 30 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, William (Mary Lou) Zoz, and Frank (Lois) Zoz; and one brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Albert (Frances) Scheideler and Alice Trepka.
