Nancy Kusant

Nancy Kuhns Kusant, 86, of Sargent, Nebraska went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022; at the Valley County Health System Hospital in Ord, Nebraska.

Nancy was born on May 7, 1935, to Ralla E. and Aldine (Dunlap) Kuhns at Lambertville, New Jersey. On May 24, 1952, she married William R. Kusant, Sr. at Stockton, New Jersey; in the family farmhouse where they later raised their family.

In 1981, they moved to Afton, New York to start a new dairy farm. After the kids left home, Nancy attended nursing school and spent many years working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the hospital and in people's homes.

Nancy enjoyed making many different arts and crafts.

She is survived by her children, Glenn (Jody) Kusant, Eileen (Jerry) Peacock, Marie (Jan) Dykeman and Bill (Teresa) Kusant; as well as many grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
