Oakes Mishael Hougnon, the cherished infant son of Dillon and Kayla (Miller) Hougnon of Ord, Nebraska was born at 6:46 a.m. on June 8, 2026, at Hastings, Nebraska. Oakes was welcomed into the arms of Jesus shortly after birth. He spent the day surrounded by his family and friends.

He was and is loved and cherished by many; including his parents, Dillon and Kayla; siblings, Sawyer, Titus, Ezra, and Shiloh Hougnon; many loving grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles; and a host of friends who loved him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Christian Church in Ord, Nebraska. A luncheon will follow the church service. The family encourages those that attend to honor Oakes’ life by wearing bright colors, hearing stories of his journey, and worshiping Jesus.
