SHERYL KRCILEK

Sheryl Lynn Krcilek, 65, of rural Ord passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Per Sheryl's wishes no services will be held. Memorials are suggested to the Family.

Sheryl Lynn was born December 14, 1953, at Ord, Nebraska to Gerald and Norma (Klanecky) Krikac.  She was raised west of Ord in the Geranium Township of Valley County, Nebraska. Sheryl received her education at District #29 Country School and graduated from Ord High School in 1972. Following graduation Sheryl continued her education at Reece and Sybil Cosmetology School.

On July 26, 1975, Sheryl was united in marriage to Charles Dean Krcilek at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. The couple spent their married life on the farm south of Ord where they raised their three children, farmed and raised livestock. Sheryl worked at McDonalds in Ord from 1995 until 2008. Charles passed away in February of 2008. Sheryl continued living on the farm where she enjoyed being outside and operating the farm.

Sheryl was always there to help her family and neighbors. She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, playing cards, Sudoku and crosswords.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Carrie Krcilek and Thomas and Nicole Krcilek all of Ord; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Daniel Dzingle of Gretna; ten grandchildren; one brother, Michael (Gladys) Krikac of Lincoln; two sisters, Jane (Steve) Vech of Ord and Linda (Bill) Wiley of Milford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Charles.
