Tammy Arnold

Tamara Renee "Tammy" Arnold, 55, of Alda passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023; at Arbor Care Center in Ord.

Ms. Arnold's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023; at the First United Methodist Church in Ord. Pastor Scott Smith will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Ord City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

Tamara Renee was born September 8, 1967, at Ord, Nebraska to Roger and Pamella (Warner) Arnold. She was raised in Ord where she received her education and graduated from Ord High School in 1985.

Tammy moved to Wood River and worked at the Wood River Nursing Home. She spent the majority of her working years at the Grand Island Veterans Home where she held many positions and worked in various capacities from 1988 to 2021.

Tammy was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved country music and enjoyed singing. Tammy's two children, her family and friends were a very important part of her life.

Survivors include her parents, Roger and Pam Arnold of Ord; a son, Justin Timmerman of Scotia; a daughter, Katrina Timmerman of Grand Island; a brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Michele Arnold of St. Paul; a niece, Brittany Koperski of St. Paul; and a host of friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Glen and Velma Warner and Floyd and Viola Arnold.
