Virginia Lee Duvall, 75, of Aurora, Colorado passed away unexpectedly at her home in Aurora, Colorado.
Virginia Lee was born August 16, 1948, at Audubon, Iowa to Harlan "Jack" and Mildred (Lincoln) Duvall. The family moved to Atkinson, Nebraska and then to Ord in 1960, where Virginia graduated from Ord High School in 1966.
Following high school Virginia continued her education at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching. She went on to teach English at DeWitt and Palmer, Nebraska. In the mid 90's Virginia moved to Denver, Colorado. While in Denver, she worked as a paralegal for the State of Colorado Transportation Department and retried in her early 60's.
During the late 70's, Virginia served in the Peace Corp for two years in Tunisia teaching English and French. She enjoyed participating in the Sweet Adeline's singing group; quilting, sewing, crocheting and reading.
Survivors include three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Nancy Duvall, Arthur and Tanya Duvall and Lester and Ninette Duvall; a sister, Linda Freeman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Donna and Rose; and a brother-in-law, Richard Freeman.
Ms. Duvall's wishes were to be cremated. She will be laid to rest in the Ord City Cemetery following a private family gathering.
